I would suggest watching the first episode and continuing until you either run out or decide you don’t like it.

Watched the finale last night at my sister-in-law’s house. She was whooping and hollering with delight at what happened.
I thought the show had a mediocre plot line with tons of unnecessary f-bombs. Me, I’ve never felt the need to swear uncontrollably when discussing chili.
Hard pass.

Yes. If you can suspend a bit of reality that comes with knowing so much violence in modern day Montana would go almost unnoticed... a big stretch. Do this and you will really like the show.

It’s the Sopranos with cowboys.
I’ve seen about 15 mins total across 2-3 episodes and even I know enough to know that is wholly inaccurate.

Made it half way through the first season and stopped! Could not take it anymore. The daughter had some decent nude scenes but hated her character. Like westerns and Kevin. 1883 a much better show after just 3 episodes! It's just not for me!

This is a perfect answer for me
But I couldn’t get over how outlandish this got and lost interest
The season 4 opener did it for me
Too dumb
But great scenery and a lot of the music is good

Most people will say yes. It’s the Sopranos with cowboys. If that sounds good to you, sure.
Did you just equate this travesty with the Sopranos?
Shut your dirty whore mouth.

Its Sons of Anarchy with cowboys.
This is the way I have described it to friends... It's a fun watch if you're into that sort of thing and dont nitpick every little thing...

I thought it was a bit cheesy

It’s entertaining, but not good. I like the Sons of Anarchy comparison.

its frustrating that its just 6 shows and season is over, its so pathetic they dont even try to do real seasons any more.
Well it was 10 episodes. But I can understand why you said that. Season 4 is horrible and you can easily skip a few episodes and not even realize it.
In fact, if you watch E1 and E10, you really don’t miss anything with season 4.

We decided to start it and wrapped up Episode 6 last night.
It's entertaining, but the below post was informative.
When the 5th person died in the first 3 or 4 episodes my wife and I just started laughing at the body count.

I like a plot where there is resolution when that episode is over and the next episode presents and resolves something new. An occasional "To be Continued" is okay but other than that I will lose interest waiting for the payoff.
So you don't like most of modern television.

Maybe I’m in the minority on this but I liked everything up until the season 2 finale which was laughably rushed.
Finally just picked up and finished season 3 and liked it fine. And then season 4, episode 1 just kind of rushes through the resolution set up in the season 3 finale.

Yes.
If you're looking for something enjoyable to watch then you will like it. If you are looking to pick and bitch about every little thing then maybe it's not for you.
Outside of this board, I don't know anyone that does not like Yellowstone.
