D-Line play improved accounting for injuries, and I hear he’s made waves on the recruiting trail. He no longer has LSU D-Line coach on his twitter profile, hopes he lands on his feet.

Sounds like LSU will pursue another NFL guy for D-Line coach (hire is up to House) (I don’t know names though)

It’s surprising that the only coach that will be kept is Brad Davis. (No word on Peetz…but he should be gone or demoted to a position coach)

Either way I’m open to Kelly’s hires & think he should choose whoever fits the vision.

Has Daronte been formally let go? If so, I missed it.

Well, we hired a DC who is not him, so it's all but official unless he takes a demotion.

We also hired two DB coaches so unless he takes a demotion to Ponamsky's job, he gone.

Change is going to be pretty complete. After an abysmal record, you have to expect it. These things are never efficient or fair for that matter. You have to give the person in charge the reins.

Are you claiming a source on this or just reading tea leaves?

Carter was the one guy I didn’t see as tainted by O. Would be happy to have him on staff if CBK and House feel he’s part of the solution, not the problem.

I was assuming a demotion if he was retained.

if we have to pay him (daronte) regardless, can we give him an analyst title for a year?

I imagine it would depend on the wording in his contract. It’s highly unlikely he would accept such a position, but if it is allowed by the contract it might be a way to get him to void the remainder owed on the contract.

frick that. I don't even want him as an analyst for $30k per year. Definitely not a position coach.

You know analysts also breakdown film during the off-season for the upcoming season.

Good. Everybody remotely connected to Ed Orgeron should be replaced.

I understand your thinking but it is not good to retain someone in the lockerroom that you just replaced even if they are getting paid.

Seems like someone Napier would love to hire if he’s not retained…

Really would love to Andre but I trust BK 100%.

Just seems like the kind of leader of men that BK likes. He’s not just a good coach and recruiter, but a really good guy.

I do wish we would keep Carter. He seemed like a good coach and the players love him
