It’s no big secret I enjoy building scale models. I’ve shared my work here several times. I shared these two in the OT just last weekend.
It is very relaxing. I have a room at home that’s my “model room”. I have a desk that fits perfectly in the dormer window. I can go in there on the weekend and work on whatever model I’m building at the moment while listening to my Spotify or a podcast. While I’m in my model room working, I can relax and clear my mind.

Besides 95% of the OT who only bang 10s all day and make billions of dollars to invest in their F-250, what are some hobbies you took up in order to either pass time or learn something new?
I don’t discriminate, so 2 OT 9s at the same time in the back of my f350.

I walk, lift weights, do yoga, and bike ride. Bike riding is the only one I actually enjoy the whole time and get lost in my thoughts. So bike riding. The rest feel mostly like work and require effort. I like to ride along the L.A. river trail and observe the meth community.

Lockpocking. Got a set many years ago for shits and giggles. Great escape. Challenging enough to keep my brain occupied but with zero stress.

Marksmanship. There is something satisfying about putting round after round in the same hole and on target.

Running and golf are therapeutic. The latter just to enjoy the scenery and outdoors more than how I’m playing.
