Yeah, well Brady being fired from the panthers wasn’t an indictment of Brady. It was an indictment on their terrible ownership and management. He was the scapegoat. Since then their offense has only gotten worse every week. The man got fired and looks like an even better coach now.
As far as Aranda goes, he clearly is crushing it.
So I disagree with this take. There were a few coaches that definitely looked better than they actually were that year. But coaches like Brady and Aranda were the real deal.

On is having success in the NFL. The other has never had success without Burrow.
Is it really that impossible for Joe to be a great QB and Brady be a good OC?
It seems like y’all forget the burrow runs vs Bama, 3rd and 17 vs Texas, the wheel route vs Florida, the Clyde TD va Bama at half
Brady called a hell of a season but it wouldn’t have mattered if Joe didn’t execute and he did. Every, single, time

Burrow. Who made Curley Hallman seem like a good coach? Farve.

Yeah, people can't seem to grasp that Brady had McCaferry for a total of like 6 games over 2 seasons, never had his full WR core, and never had any talent at quarterback. I mean his quarterbacks this year were Sam Darnold and 2021 Cam Newton lol.

Different people deserve credit for different things. I'll credit coach O for getting the talented players here. I won't credit him for coaching them up to what they were in 2019, other coaches did that for the most part. I credit the players for going out and actually executing. Everyone on that team played a different role and did it well

Burrow and I am surprised knowing what we know now this is even a question. Brennan was lightning it up without Brady in 2020.

Do you not think he had a big role in signing Teddy Bridgewater then letting him go and bringing in Sam Darnold?
That may have more to do with him being let go than what actually happened on the field.

Burrow along with a very good O line, great RB and good WR's
Defense very good also
Brady helped for sure but without Burrow and absence of any of the above mentioned there would likely been not national title.

Brady didn't bring anything personally to LSU. All he did was teach Sean Payton's passing schemes to SE and the staff and players. They could have brought in Pete Carmichael and it would have had the same effect. The engine of the whole operation was Joe Burrow.

It wasn’t just 1 guy. We had a dominant team
Y’all get mad but here’s a bitchslap of truth - the man that built it is Ed Orgeron
Joe Burrow - Ed brought him in when everyone else but Cincinnati passed
Justin Jefferson- O caught shite for taking a 3*/2* WR
Jamar Chase - O landed him when Les wanted him to play safety and he committed to Florida.
Terrace Marshall- Jimbo pulled out every stop he had but Ed got him to lsu
Joe Brady and Steve Ensminger- no one was giving these guys a OC job. Ed did.
Klavon Chaisson was basically locked in at Texas and Ed wouldn’t let him go. Leading to the infamous recruiting trip where O was at his house at 5am and followed Klavon right up to the gate at the airport gate when Chaisson was leaving for Florida. He literally did a 20 min recruiting trip with him while walking through an airport.
Jacob Phillips was committed too and locked in at OU. When Dylan Moses and Chris Allen spurned us- Ed got Jacob to flip a few days before signing day.
Patrick Queen, Klavon Chaisson, Derek Stingley, Jacoby Stevens, Fehoko, Grant Delpit, Damien Lewis and Cade York all signed up under O.
He clearly screwed the pooch and crashed fhe Ferrari into a brick wall- but he gets 100% credit for 2019. As he should
Word!! Funny how all the little chickenettes on this board hate the truth...

How’d Steve do with 3 different QBs in 2020?
Man I thought we were cool again but if you’re going after Slinger then you can kiss my arse

Slinger made the guy who had the best CFB season ever look like Danny Etling

Driving force?
Burrow for sure. He was the best leader in the complex by a mile that year.
That being said, did we need Joe Brady?
Yes. Maybe not specifically him but he did a needed job of actually making the offense work for the players.
Could other OCs have done this? Sure. But he was the one who did.
If we make 0 coaching changes going into 2019 I think Joe has a great year
30ish TDS. JJ and a chase probably each have 10 maybe another 8 or so to Marshall and scatter a few more around.
Do we throw 60? I don’t think so.
And we needed every pay bit of offense to win out.

Look how great Carolinas offense is now that Brady is gone... Obviously you need players and coaches, we had the players just needed the right offensive mind to take full advantage. There's no shame in any of it m, obviously you can't have one without the other and expect to get the same results as 2019

Think about how many caught balls we would have forgiven if dropped. The receivers were otherworldly.

Not sure about the answer to OP's question but my goodness Burrow is unreal..may end up being the best QB I see in my lifetime..I wish my Titans could somehow get him
Posted on 12/27/21 at 10:09 am to Dvice1956
I’d say the one who is still balling in the NFL
