Other than throwing away the leftover bacon and sausage, I agree with OP. What kind of man sleeps in? Even if you were up until 1-2a drinking, your arse should be out of bed no later than 8a.

Don’t worry boomer, you and your kind don’t have much time left.

Sounds like BIL runs your house and that he is the Alpha male and you are the Beta. I bet it sucks to be a loser in your own home on Christmas, but get used to it. The passive aggressive throwing the eggs and bacon out was a feeble attempt to reassert your manhood. Face it your a pussy.

This thread did not go as the OP expected.

Wonder if the BIL threw him out of his own house yet.

BIL probably just hooked it up to his truck and took the entire thing back to his place.

Yep. OP tried to impress us by showing us what an alpha billy bad arse he is but the OT had different ideas. I picture his sulking on his couch wondering what he should change his user name to while his BIL tells him to get him another beer.

In all seriousness he’s probably an alcoholic. I would bet if you went into his room you’d find a bottle of vodka stashed somewhere near the bed that he had to nip off of constantly, and through the night. His wife is embarrassed and took him breakfast to try and get him somewhat functional.

Lol this post is even more insane than the OP.

Knuckle checked by BIL at an empty Sonic early on Christmas morning. He started down a dark road when he dumped the bacon and eggs in anger.

My sister in law, her husband and two kids are ALWAYS 30-45 minutes late for any engagement or holiday and the family (usually 15 or so) always accommodate them and wait.

Thanksgiving this year I got beligerently angry and basically took the family hostage and forced them to start at the prescribed time. They showed up 30 minutes later while people were just starting to get up and made a snide comment about not waiting for them and right when my mother in law started to apologize I unloaded on them.

Definitely not my best moment, but I am 100% prepared to do it again tomorrow if they aren't there at 9am sharp tomorrow morning. I'll be damned if I wait one minute for breakfast because of them.

I feel you. I can understand a 10-15 minute window, but after that its on them if they are late. I grew up in a household where the rule was "we will wait for you like one dog waits for the other". In other words, if you are not there when dinner is served or something will start, its on you. If you don't get it, you miss out.

Sulking on the couch? I think it’s more like, doing the Jerry Falwell in the corner as the BIL rails OP’s wife

This is such a randomly odd thing to be mad about. Obviously you do not like the guy and it sounds like the feeling is mutual.

You know what a sign of maturity is? Looking over small petty crap like this.

Who throws away bacon?

Weird

The funny thing is that OP would have been fine if he hadnt told us he threw away the bacon. We would have supported him and rooted him on for being the man in his own house. Clearly he does not know his audience. Never, ever, ever tell a room of fatties that you threw away bacon.

Had nothing to do with fatties. Why would you throw away food just to spite a person you are pissed at?

OP didn’t stop the loafers wife from cooking a fresh meal did he? So what kind of control did he really exhibit? He never engaged directly with the loafer and in fact was heavily passive aggressive through the whole thing.

What exactly are you wanting to celebrate over the OP doing?

He threw away food, more food was cooked, BIL slept and ate in OP’s bed, BIL loafed the rest of the day playing on his phone continuing to ignore OP, who by the way is the one sulking.

You need a new perspective on what winning and taking control is.

I know this is the OT and you all like to pile on an OP but put yourself in this guys shoes.

You’re invited over to the first family Christmas with the new in-laws:

Would you lay in bed till noon knowing that everyone else was getting up for breakfast?
Would you get your wife to go cook you a breakfast after you missed the family breakfast?
Would you then eat it in bed instead of getting your arse up and coming to the table?

If 90% of you think this type behavior is acceptable, in another mans home, during Christmas, this place is more fricked up than I thought.
