Portal and NIL can’t be sustained.

Why you saying that? Mizzou is now able to get 4* and 5* recruits! Without this in placed Mizzou would be where Vandy is right now! No thanks! It is fair to play this way legally! Many schools aren't doing it legally in the first place that got the top tiers to be top football programs for so long! Now the tide is turning for the better for those schools that never get a top 20 class ever!

So now that the players are finally able to make decisions, it's ruined?
Yet they claim the University is larger than the player. If a recruit dares turn down their school or p5( Travis Hunter) they get pissed.

If the University is larger than the players then fans have nothing to worry about.

The fans have nothing to worry about. We will just choose to spend our money elsewhere. At this point I find high school football way more entertaining than CFB.

People will just find something else to do with their time and money. It is apparent that Bowl games are a joke and attendance at such has significantly suffered.

Because you no longer have absolute control of the players? If your University brand is larger than the player then why get upset at teenage players doing what they think is best for them.......at the time.

NFL teams can NIL colleges of their choice.
Start the minor leagues. Freak the NCAA if they don’t like it.
Just pay all high schools signees a million a year for college. They have worked hard and succeeded in life playing amateur high school ball.

Reading comprehension is your friend. Didn't say I was upset with the players. Did say I found the high school game more entertaining.

At least LSU is in a good spot to weather things. It truly sucks to be a G5 now. So many of the diamond in the rough guys that G5 schools traditionally rely on to develop and compete with P5 teams are going to transfer out once they get a little success.

Time to end college football all together. Start a minor league and a actual collegiate league that actual students play in.

My answer from another thread.

Of all the things that could benefit from donations, donating to "college" football is pitiful. What a scam.

I agree. I’m losing interest by the day. I don’t visit this board as often as I once did.

Part of that is just getting older and having more important things to do. Much of it is Bama fatigue.
