I don’t know man, most of those recruiting complaints I’ve seen are from folks in north LA about how “LSU isn’t recruiting here.” It seems like every time a kid from up there gets a D1 scholarship somewhere besides LSU, it’s taken as a slight by LSU against the region.

I too grew up in south Louisiana and live in north west Louisiana. In early 90s there was a slight difference but now not so much.
There are a lot of good football recruits from up here along I20 corridor. Many end up at LSU. A few end up at Bama. But same thing happens down south too.

The only time most South Louisiana folks want anything to do with North Louisiana is when there are potential LSU signees or when they need a place to flee a hurricane. Sad but true.

I never shite talk any part of LA. I love it all, warts and all. Most diverse state in America.
I've never been in any part of it and I travel the state weekly. Of course there are some shite heads in every corner, but by and large, 99% good folks. Even you shits who get on here and downgrade us because your mamas and daddies spoiled you senseless and you never had to want or work for anything in your life.
This board is like the state. 99% good people but the 1% seems to loom larger and smell worse.
