Brennan was still in the portal. I'm simply pointing out the hypocrisy from people here.

Let's face it, it is only good for the top five or six schools. Every one else is going to get raped.

Not really. The smaller schools will benefit from getting players that went to bigger schools and weren't getting the playing time there that they wanted.

Can people not be happy to get Brennan back and a good OL and also think that the ability to transfer without having to sit, when you’re a starter to another team in the same division of the same conference is not what the portal was meant for? Ricks wasn’t some deep backup. He was #2 or maybe #1 until sand got somewhere. It does in my opinion create a culture that’s tough to flip around. Things aren’t always black and white.

I'm also happy about the OL.

Both were great pulls for us, and will help tremendously. But I'm also not sitting here kicking and screaming about how horrible the portal is on a daily basis.

Who are you to say what players can and can't do? So the portal is good when it works for you, but when it doesn't then there should be rules against JUST THAT. That's the point I'm making.

Yes, I hate what the portal is doing to the overall landscape of college football.

Yes, I am jumping for joy that LSU just benefited from the portal.

That doesn't make me a hypocrite. It makes me an LSU fan. I still hate the portal, but I'm also not naïve to expect LSU to not take advantage of getting more talent on campus.
