What is this? The fifth ND person to make the move with Kelly?

Coordinators. People are talking about coordinators. Not random off field staff.

Are coordinators somehow more human than support staff or something I’m not aware of? If a staffer follows BK to LSU does that not matter because they’re not important enough for their admiration of him to count? Just trying to keep up with your whiny petty bullshite.

Staffers are still people who are uprooting their lives to follow Kelly halfway around the country FYI

Kelly brought ops staff and his STC. If Freeman didn’t get the Notre Dame job, you would’ve seen a mass exodus to Baton Rouge.

Culture is with S&C, nutrition, etc. Players interact with those on a daily basis. Those were CBK's first hires.

Coordinators and coaches are limited in the amount of time that they interact with players. And OC's and DC's are pretty much temporary. They come and go all the time.

It looks like he cleaned up some of the culture right off the bat. Then focused on keeping the current class together.

Now move to finish out the staff.

Hopefully anyways..

Gee, I wonder why Freeman and Rees didn’t come to LSU.

Someone should investigate this

Good post and I think that's spot on. It's exactly how an actual good CEO would look at coming into a new environment.

ND knew if they didn’t offer Freeman the job they would have been vaporized.

Rees said himself on Russillo’s podcast that a couple of times he had it in his mind that he was coming to LSU. Freeman being promoted was a main factor for him and it seems most others.

So he's pretty much what Austin Thomas used to be?

He used to get on my everloving last nerve with the shitty midweek loss baseball threads until I broke in his house and replaced his milk with soymilk and his Angel Soft with off-brand TP in every bathroom and the man cave. Now he still gets on my everloving last nerve and he’s trying to blackmail me with the footage. I don’t know what to recommend, but he has a team of attack chinchillas in the guest house and a signed 74-72 cup on the mantle with heat sensors guarding it. Hope this helps.

The narrative was that no one liked working for him.

And now guys he worked with are coming here to work with him.

Are we gonna pretend like there is any coach in earth who’s DC wouldn’t take their job if they moved vs being their DC?

One coordinator got a HC job and the other got a huge raise.
