How to properly handle someone elses significant other dancing on them at a wedding/party

How do y'all handle a good friend or coworker's significant other dancing on you at an event? Before your educated feedback, my strategy is to always entertain it for 3-15 seconds, then politely move in the opposite direction

From what I've seen on the internet, I think you are supposed to take photos of said event and text it to the husband because he's into it?

Only go to Baptist weddings. Not alcohol or dancing.
