Trubisky actually went to playoffs twice with Nagy actively sabotaging him. He doesn’t belong in this convo. Especially when you realize how good the team played with him vs without him

Crazy the Saints havent taken a 1st round QB in 40 years

Geno Smith didn’t belong anywhere above the 7th round then pouted like a baby when he feel outside of the top-10 overall.

Jamarcus had a strong arm but was not a smart man. Couldn’t believe he was drafted first

Manuel sucked in college too but people still put him on Jimbo’s successful QB list
Manuel, Ponder, and Gabbert were some huge WTF first round picks
Tebow too no idea how McDaniels thought he could make an NFL passer out of him

Yes Manuel was average at best in college. It was truly a wtf moment when he got drafted mid first round.

Same, but he wasn’t a QB.
*edited. I thought he fell out of the 1st round. My bad.

Les ruined any chance jamarcus had. Supremely talented but needed and strong guiding coach and mentor...which miles was not of course.
If memory serves he was a Saban recruit. Have to imagine his life might have turned out dramatically different if Saban coach him throughout his career vs Les.

I wouldn't put a guy who won an MVP in his second season in this category. And despite how much I hate him, Cam Newton isn't someone I think of either
