LSU has two #1 overall QB picks in the last 20 years.

Two other guys QB’s won national championships during that time as well

So yes, we field the QB position just fine

David Klingler and Johnny Manziel.

Klingler was a system QB in college and went to a terrible Cincinnati organization.

Manziel was too short and a party clown. He had his 15 minutes of fame.

Lol that's maybe the most retarded take I've ever seen on here comparing bust Tua to GOAT Joe, you're joking right?

Christian Ponder

but to be fair i think that was a lockout year and things got goofy.

I thought Jason Campbell going to the Redskins was a bad fit. Dan Synder is such a fricking dope when it comes to football and even though I liked how Campbell got it together his last year at Auburn, that was one of the last teams he needed to go to.

I thought Dan Jones at #6 overall was awful and since then they've given him weapons to work with but thier O-line is fricking trash.

had some pause on JaMarcus Russell in my mind but that situation ended up way uglier than I thought originally.

Damn. On your first post I was thinking you misread the question. Clearly you're suffering from a head injury.

Jamarcus Russell was a GREAT college

Was he though? He was a great talent but he was never a great quarterback

I was always surprised that Jim Druckenmiller was a bust.He got drafted and never heard from again.

Also Matt Leinart after his career at USC where he started for 3 years and I was also surprised with Brady Quinn. A lot of times these first rounders get drafted by some ridiculously suckass teams and get thrown to the wolves and it destroys them
