My wife normally enjoys the Christmas season to binge watch Christmas movies. But Hallmark and Lifetime has turned totally woke. Every frigging show has either or all biracial couples, gay couples, gay biracial couples and trans couples in them. Is this really necessary?

The usual culprits will evade the point but I get what you are saying. It's not that biracial couples are wrong or are doing anything wrong, it's the over the top over representation that is so weird. I'm not exactly sure what the point of it is or if there is one at all, they may be doing it just for the hell of it, but there is no doubt anyone from the outside looking in would think every couple in America was biracial or gay

My wife does the same, but she has about 30 movies from previous years recorded on the DVR for when the movies referenced above come on and she doesn't want it thrown in her face.

Yes. It correctly reflects the fact the overwhelming majority of this country is LGTBQ+ and are in bi-racial relationships. Modern media correctly reflects the makeup of this brave new country that no longer beliefs in such outdated concepts as racism and segregation.
Now excuse me while I go attend a BLM rally, go beat up some crackers who don't yell BLM loud enough, and then retire to my BIPOC-only residence hall on campus.
