My family rarely eats fast food, but last night was busy with kids’ stuff and my wife got stuck in traffic, so we decided to grab Backyard Burger.

2 kids meals and 2 basic cheeseburger combos cost $41.

We usually get lunch out after church. About the only non-chain options are Mexican. The bill for the 4 of us to get sh!tty Mexican is now around $50 before tip. That same meal was around $38 a year ago.

My favorite local BBQ place now charges $12.50 for the pulled pork sandwich, 2 sides, and drink that I was paying $9.50 for back in the spring. And their brisket taco that used to be $2.25 is now $5.

We aren’t tight on funds, but I’m probably going to lobby for more home cooked Sunday lunches.

A large pep stuffed crust pizza from Pizza Hut delivered with tip is like 30$ now. I’m so fricking sick of leftist policies.

I've heard from restaurant workers that the church crowd are among the worst tippers.

If it were up to me, the after-church dine-out crowd would pay even more.

What did you people expect when we shut down the economy like we did. We will be paying for this in lost wages and inflation for the next 5 years minimum.

BBQ places I notice the increase the most. Essentially 40% increases at places we go.

If you went to eat a sit down restaurant by yourself and got a full meal with entree, side, a non-water drink, and tipped and the total ended up being $10-$12 would you call that absurdly expensive?

The rest of your post leads to me to believe otherwise.

We eat out once a week at a sitdown restaurant and it is usually $75 with tip.
