If you think Kelly is going to plug and play then LSU is going to be back then think again. This is a rebuild with all the transfers, decommits, etc.

Expect several 8-5 seasons until we hit a 10-3 type season which will probably be in 3-4 years.

There is not near the talent left at LSU as some might believe.

If that happens the Kelly hire was a failure.

It’s going to take 3-4 years to compete with Arkansas and Ole Miss? I don’t believe you.

Have you seen our roster. We are empty. The cupboard is bare. This class will be lean. 8-5 is probably the reality for a couple years.

I disagree. There’s plenty of talent, but not depth. And they all need better coaching. The roster still is set up well for next year.

I do think it’s a rebuild, but more in a cultural and philosophical sense, which will claim its own victims.

Maybe…. We just beat TAM and went toe to toe with Bama with our second team.

There has been a toxic culture since summer of 2020

Some are now gone

There is a very good core everywhere except offensive line.

Much better coaching situation

I agree not a playoff contender in 2022.. but much quicker than four years

We seriously have to have some of the most negative “fans” in the entire country.

Some on here would bitch if they got $1 Million handed to them in $100 bills instead of all $20’s.

I agree it is a rebuild but it won't take that long IMO.

It's more than close. It's absolutely clear. There's really no argument against it other than conclusory statements about "talent".

Well, the fact that the second and third string db's played well, communicated better, played harder and wanted to be on the field and almost beat Bama tells me they're not too far off in talent. It's about an attitude and a group working together for one goal. That's what BK refers to when he talks about "alignment".

Did you see our roster this year with an idiot head coach and two green coordinators? We could have won 8 or 9 games this year.

we should be back contending by year 2 or 3. give him 2 to build up roster.

so no 10-3 until year 4?

that is laughable.

I think 2 season rebuild. Should both be winning seasons at least

We definitely have more talent now than when Gerry DiNardo took over after 6 straight losing seasons and he went 10-2 in year 2

Damn some LSU fans are already building excuses for Kelly. That’s bullshite though. You don’t rebuild in college football. Especially not when you are two years removed from a championship at one of the top programs. There is also the transfer portal which allows you to load up with talent quickly.

Not a rebuild. A re-alignment.

I don't expect much in 2022, but we will be better than the last 2 years. 2023 I think we're right back in the mix for the SECCG. Kelly and staff will hit the portal hard for players and once the staff gets grounded the turnaround should be quick.
