Matthews is playing for a state title saturday night. I seriously doubt he’ll be at lsu anytime before hand.

Probably, the goal for ESD is to get as many at the top of your board to sign then and there.
The best way to do that is face-to-face contact no matter how you go about it.
I like the idea of having recruits in at bowl practices with the new staff. Since your bowl opponent is usually a comparative unknown there's lots of film room time which is a great setting for recruiting and the practices themselves lean more "technical" than "conditioning" which is also good.
But if need be, in-homes are the next available option. Having parents with burnable vacation time is also a consideration. Parents with one coach at indoor practice facility and their position coach in the film room with the recruit.
The best way to do that is face-to-face contact no matter how you go about it.
