Ultimate chaos hypothetical

Bama gets manhandled.
Ok State, Cincy, and Michigan all lose.

Who makes playoffs?

I suspect the committee still won’t let Notre dame in due to their only loss being to a eventual one loss cincy and them not having a significant win.

I also think they’d keep Michigan at 4 and not let Ohio state in since Michigan has the head to head.

So who would get the other two spots? Baylor and who else?

UGA, Baylor, what about the ACC champ? Any shot there? Ole miss? Bama?

Iowa over Michigan. They would both have 2 losses with Iowa getting H2H

UGA
ND
Michigan - if close loss
Baylor

If Michigan gets curb stomped move Baylor to 3 and Cincinnati to 4

Is there any scenario where UGA gets left out? I think if even Bama blanks them 100-0 they're in.

I think ND gets the next open slot if one of the others drop out.

Georgia-Alabama: a close game and I think both teams get in. But a blowout loss by either and that team is out.

Cincy: lose and they're out no matter how close or how bad.

Michigan: they may stay in if a close loss, but can't afford a blowout loss.

Ok State: needs a really dominant win to have a chance.

Iowa: bad losses to unranked teams; no chance
Baylor: losing to Ok State is one thing, but a TCU team that fired its coach that week is another; no chance

Absolutely incorrect. Georgia is getting in no matter what happens tomorrow.

It's not that they won't let them in, but there would need to be enough chaos for both of them to get in if Cincy loses.
12-1 G5 that didn't win their conference, is a tough sell. But they'll have a tougher time selling 11-1 ND over a 12-1 team that beat them on their house.
If that ND loss was to literally anyone else they're pretty easily getting in over a non conf champ Cincy even with the coaching change

not really. They just need to win AND chalk holds OR a non-Bama upset

Cincy has the most riding on this game

Win and they’re in
Lose they’re out of a NY6 bowl completely and the G5 may get shut out because SDSU won’t climb 4 spots. Coog High won’t climb 6 spots and Cincy is ineligible because not a Conference Champion

If UGA gets 21-0 they wont make the playoff. That would be the only way. I would not put them in anyway if they lost, but that is a different argument.

UG is a lock. Bama has enough clout than any sort of loss to Bama will still have UG in.
