Facebook reminded me today of an OB loss from 8 years ago... RIP El Josey Wales

Damn, its been 8 years already???

Was a solid OB guy.

May perpetual light shine upon him.

EJW was my OB BFF. Loved that dude. I can't remember what the phrase was, but I remember going back and looking at his last post and he had something I posted as his sig quote.

So hard to believe its been 8 years already! I remember a deer hunt with he and his son that year that had 3 of us crammed in a box stand, EJW's chair giving out which gave us all a good laugh and forced he and his son to share chair providing an unforgettable picture of them, and a very exciting hunt with several shots fired from little EJW but no kills - what a great time spent with a great man!

We put Christmas flowers on his headstone today. His mom makes sure seasonal flowers are there 365 days a year.She loves growing flowers & he could not have cared less about that so she says she knows he's laughing at her every time she puts them out for him.

I knew him personally, he was a good man. I remember the day I got the text he left this world and I fell to my knees.

RIP brother. I think of you often.

Never met him but went to the memorial service and met a bunch of guys that knew him. Still look at the pictures .
