Yeah, it's ridiculous. But it's extremely annoying how quick conservatives are to chase the ball thrown by the left. This is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. I've probably had 4 or 5 IRL acquaintances mention this "hand picked" narrative and talk about how ridiculous it is, but not one of them has talked about Barr's status as a swamp master.
So here we are telling dems how dumb they are because they "don't understand" how appointments work, but what's actually happening is we are talking about the shite they want to talk about, instead of the shite we need to be talking about. The left can make us defend a swamper without even breaking a sweat. Now we have people dedicated to defending Trump's "hand picked" appointment because they think they are going to "own the libz" with facts and logic Ben Shapiro style.
The proper response to their stupid narratives is our own narrative that suits our own purposes. Defending against the premise of their narratives is not a good play.
