Assuming the daughter is black too, is it not racist to deny her justice? If race is a factor for the perpetrator should it not be for the victim also?

2. Case has already been appealed, and the appellate court ruled that the trial judge acted as required by the IRCA law.
The IRCA law may well be a bad idea, but it seems wrong to be angry at the trial court judge for applying Canadian law correctly. Anger should be directed at those who enacted the IRCA process.
