Dallas City Employees Must Use Proper Pronouns or Face Dismissal

Employees of the City of Dallas, Texas, must use people's preferred pronouns or risk termination, according to recently publicized documents.
An internal document titled "Workplace Gender Transition Protocols & FAQ" explains the city's expectations for conduct regarding transgender individual
"An employee has the right to be addressed by the name and pronoun of their choice. Our addressing the employee by their chosen pronoun is a sign of respect for them as an individual."
The document claims that "refusing to respect an employee’s gender identity by intentionally referring to an employee by a name or by pronouns that do not correspond to the employee’s gender identity" is a form of discrimination and harassment.
Failing to follow the city's protocol is grounds for an internal investigation and "may be disciplined up to and including termination."
The city government, referring to the workplace conduct document as a "toolkit," said that the policies were developed by the City's Office of Equity.
"The toolkit […] is a draft of guidelines developed by the City’s Office of Equity and Inclusion with input from Human Resources staff to address the needs of transgender and gender nonconforming employees and provide guidance to supervisors and managers on how to protect the rights and safety of such employees."

City employees are "expected to respectfully use the transitioning employee’s preferred name and pronouns, regardless of whether or not they ‘believe in,’ approve of, or accept an individual’s right to be transgender or undergo a gender transition," according to the guidelines.
Soon enough you'll be required to do this in order to be in society.
Social credit scores will be a thing soon enough and it will be pure communism.

I will adopt the same ones that Sméagol has.

So you have to memorize everyone that works for the cities asinine desired pronouns?

Governor Abbott is already considering making Austin a district run by the State rather than a city. Dallas is liable to find itself (is that the right pronoun?) in the same boat.

It’s time to make a mockery of this. Pronouns for everybody.

Let the false claims of harassment flow. One wrong look, and a professional victim can lie and say you failed to support their pronoun fantasy.

When I first moved to Dsllas in the early 90's it still had a Republican mayor.
Like so many places, the leftists move in and live off what was successfully built, surprising the city hasn't been destroyed completely but the smell of piss was a lot more prominent the last time I went downtown.

How long before Texas turns blue from all the illegal aliens, LGBTetc freaks and political, corporate woke BS?
I would ask if he or she was a true male or female and address them either Mr.or Ms.. Period!
Then get myself a good civil lawyer when they terminated me.

This is why you know none of this is meant to be real. It would be impossible, even if you WANTED to play along with this, to somehow remember these idiotic things for tons of people you work with, given the fact they say they can change them based on any whim they have.

This is all designed to make you upset, confused and eventually as compliant as possible.
The ONLY answer to all of this is, "No."
This works fine, thanks.

The Civil Rights Act replaced the Constitution
This is a stupid policy, but it will promptly be challenged, and it will fail under the First Amendment. In today's political environment, insistence upon referencing a biological male with male pronouns is inherently a political statement. Hence, political speech. Hence, protected.

Because that is the dumbest fricking thing I have heard in a while.

Crazy to think that one day it could be illegal to get a 100 on an elementary school English test.
