Ok by me. It is not hard for honest citizens to get a permit. I prefer it to not be so easy for dishonest citizens to carry.

Also, there are a lot of gun dealers and instructors that make money teaching CC classes and they don't want constitutional carry to pass.

Dishonest citizens would not apply for a permit.
The problems with laws and restrictions is that they impede upon Law "Abiding" people. Criminals by their very nature don't give 2 shites about any laws.

theres a super majority on the republican side now. it can happen, but probably wont since 2 of them were democrats. i dont know their stance.

If it has the same restrictions as LA's CCL it won't be much use anyway. The only thing the CCL is good for is bypassing the 4473 background check wait.
