Police pulled over young couple for going over 100MPH and was given 3 tickets but was given a warning for speeding. Minutes later same cop gets call about fatal accident and finds out it’s the same couple that he just pulled over. Car was going 124mph when it crashed into a 18 wheeler. Driver and passenger of the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene and nothing happened to the 18 wheeler driver.

Sad, but natural selection.

That cop might lose his job and the police department will be sued.

When you're going 124 mph you're supposed to be arrested for reckless endangerment and not just getting a ticket.

First date, eh? There's a joke about "getting head on the first date" ripe for the pickin'....it's just not coming to me.

Probably saved some poor family with small kids in their car from being killed.

The driver didn’t even have a driver’s license and gave the cop his id card and cop was like yea I still believe you lol

Every car driving on public roads should have governor set to no more than 90 mph. Anything beyond that and you are endangering everyone around you. There is nowhere the speed limit is any higher than that.
How many stories do we have to read like Henry Ruggs. Thankfully they didn’t kill someone else.
Call me a communist. I don’t care. I see enough dumbasses on I-10 driving 110 mph and it is inevitable they are going to crash and potentially kill someone innocent.

Obviously. Because the cop stopped them it made them even later and they just had to drive faster to make up the time. It is science and shite.

Let's make it 30mph to be really safe.

You think not wanting someone to be able to drive over 90 mph on public roads is unreasonable?

He'll likely be covered by some memorandum somewhere that says you don't jail people for minor offenses. Like California and their shoplifting under $999 rule.

or let everyone speed, the slow movers cause the accidents. Plus you can get somewhere faster. No need to eat a big mac while driving because it takes you half the time to get there.

I saw this on YouTube yesterday. Cop cuts the dude a break and tells him to be careful then he drives his car under the back of an 18 wheeler blocking 4 lanes while trying to back into a side street. I think he was was still going almost 70mph at impact. The back bumper on the trailer sawed the car completely in half starting at about 2 feet off the ground. That cop was seriously shaken up. He mentioned later what if he had not stopped them. Crazy the things you think about. Butterfly effect

Thankful they got an 18 wheeler who could absorb their selfish stupidity and not a mom with kids in a minivan or any other innocent person
