Tomorrow makes 10 months since my wife passed away.

It’s been awhile since I have posted so I apologize if it is a little long. Time really does go by fast. It’s hard to believe that it’s going to be a year soon. So much has happened in the past 10 months. At times it all seems like a blur to be honest. It’s cliche to say but I really just take one day at a time. The storms don’t happen as often and when they do pop up, the storms don’t last as long. I am at the point where I am able to listen to her voicemails and not breakdown. I am now able to think about and remember the good times and that brings a smile to my face. I love my wife and miss her so much. But I also know that life goes on and I must continue to keep living. God wants me continue living and I will. I believe my wife is proud of us and I believe she is watching over us. I have faith that God has amazing things in store for my family and myself. For everyone that has prayed for my family and myself, all I can sincerely say is “Thank You” and I will leave everyone with this……CJ McCollum sucks!!!

Grieving is a process. Hang in there!

This stings, man. I'm staring down the barrel of that same gun myself in the near future. Mrs. Tantal is the most beautiful and amazing woman to ever walk this planet. She's only 45 and it's not likely that she see's 46. Not sure how a man comes back from this.

Are you the guy who was building a new house? Have y'all been able to move in yet?

I remember. I think. Didn’t you move out of the house with your two children, or were about to?
I’m remembering reading it and realizing just how fragile this whole construct is, and weak I am. I’m imagining my children would be my only reason for trying to stay alive. I hope you find some peace. You’re gonna be together again. God bless you.

Hang in there man. It gets easier with time, but keep the memories alive.

Mm\an, I am glad y’all are starting to see a little light.

This is one of the best pieces of advice that can be given to someone and for someone to actually receive and hear.
quote:
The storms don’t happen as often and when they do pop up, the storms don’t last as long.
Every storm runs out of rain. After the darkest hour, the sun will shine again. And no matter how long or dark the night is, the sun always comes up the next day.
A lyric from The Beatles song, "Let it Be" really resonates with me ...
quote:
And when the night is cloudy
There is still a light that shines on me
Shine until tomorrow
Let it be
I can say this without knowing you. You have survived 100 % of your worst days. It may have sucked. And it may still suck. But you are still here and you will get through today, tomorrow, and next week.
For every day that passes, I hope your grief lessens, and you can eventually find many happy and fond memories of your wife and the life you had together. It's those memories that will live on with you forever.

It’d be tough for me to carry on. My wife and I have been together 26 years and she is my best friend. I always read your posts and have prayed for you. I hope you continue to heal.

I can't imagine, I just can't. I wish you peace and happiness brother.
