Old Tucks would have escalated this to epic proportions but I guess they’re now afraid of losing their permit. Money wins again.

As odious as Teedy is, and as well deserved as the disrespect to her was, most of these krewes have very strict rules about float rider decorum and behavior. Fines and suspensions are very common for misbehaving riders.
That said, it is very hard to resist disrespecting the city brass at Gallier Hall as one's float slowly rides past it. I usually put down my throws and drink my beer at that point of the route. Can't get into trouble that way.
