120,000 troops on the border ready to go. Russia has not ruled out a theater in Belarus (the worst European country after Russia). I know they are worried about Ukraine joining NATO, but what is their end game? Seize the whole country or just additional parts of it?

Hot take: It’s none of our business. Ukraine isn’t NATO (Article 5 doesn’t apply) and we are not the world’s police force.

Sounds like Europes problem. Hopefully those NATO countries over there started putting 2% GDP into their military.

Is it really going to happen this time? People have been posting about this imminent invasion for a month now.

Piecing the Soviet Union back together. Oh, and that string of buffer states between Russia and NATO is a nice bonus.

It's OK, we will print money and put boots on the ground for 20+ years and accomplish nothing. It is the Republicrat way.

The United States was part of a coup in 2014 that overthrew the democratically elected Yanukovych regime. That sparked a civil war, a Russian invasion and a secession referendum in Crimea. As is usually the case, this heightened conflict can be directly traced to one place: the hallways of Langley, Virginia.

Hot take: we’re probably just as complicit in this as Putin

We have a vegetable in the white house, NATO is too close for comfort, and Europe is terrified of the common cold. If you're ex KGB boss currently HMFIC of Russia, this is as good as its ever going to get if you want to buffer NATO off your boarder and get the old soviet union back.
