This, Putin is not only going to take the Ukraine, but we are going to pay him not to. Right up until he does, then Biden will do nothing, and blame it on Trump.

and on europe.....thats a big yes sir. both the USA and Europe should be getting all electical power from Nuclear. it is the cleanest energy source known to man. We can manage without it but europe cant and they need to reap the rewards for their environmental wokeness and lack of common sense.

Yep, but coincidentally Germany is pushing forward with REDUCING nuclear power plants and they’re the ones with the fancy pipeline from Russia. France on the other hand disagrees and is expanding their euro zone leading nuclear power production.

Wouldn't more reliance on hydro, solar, and wind be a good energy hedge here against conflict in Russia?

Not when they can’t supply the power they need, are finicky, and expensive. If they had any sense at all they’d be making LNG deals with us and expanding nuclear. Nuclear meets all of their objectives in the most reasonable way and were a much better partner to deal with for LNG supplementation and diversification.

The winter Olympics start in 10 days. Putin in just dust off the 2014 Obama-era plans again and do the same thing, only on a higher scale, while eveyone oooos and ahhhs at the pretty skaters and sledders.

The commie playbook is extremely predictable, but when you don't fear a single country in the West, it doesn't matter, because no one will do anything.

The only problem with that is the Ukrainians probably want to be their own independent country and not live as second class citizens like they were under the Tsar/Soviets

That's it in a nutshell!
