Jason Day and Adrian Meronk could both follow Jon Rahm in joining LIV Golf, with the Spaniard backed to become the breakaway league's next big-money signing. Rahm has been linked with making a shock move to the LIV setup in recent weeks, with a reported £450million signing fee set to be on the table. As rumours surrounding the Masters champion's future continue to spread, a report from the Daily Telegraph claimed he may well not be the only Tour player weighing up the move.

It says that is the signing fee. I wonder if there is more money on the table? These guys would,be stupid to turn it down now that they are merging with the PGA Tour.

It would be quite something if they are still merging yet paying this kind of money for a player. I think the fact they’re doing it is a clear sign they’re not merging but I don’t know shite

Why would these golfers really turn this down. They are not making that kind of money on the PGA.

How many years is this for?

I would totally leave also. Plus he has already won at the highest level at the PGA.

Rahm has made $66 mil since turning Pro in 2016 + his sponsorships. I’d say making close to $10 mil a year is pretty damn good money for playing golf half a year.

So you can multiply your career earnings by ten with one stroke of a pen?

Literally took you 7, almost 8 years, to make 66 million and you can make almost ten times that by signing your name?

I’m signing my name.

He doesn’t want to go, because he knows LIV isn’t the competitive golf he loves. It’s why he has thwarted multiple offers already. But the offer has gotten ridiculous. I don’t know how you turn it down at this point

She might change that.
