Ok, someone’s gonna have to explain the whole Coach Chris thing to me.

Apparently he is the special teams analyst and there is a poster who for the last two years at least has done these long tongue in cheek posts attributing most of the teams success to him

It’s pretty simple. He is a young prodigy and the next great coach at LSU. We have two elite specialists in Cade York and ZVR. They are both up for being finalists for the Groza and Guy Awards. That’s absurd. I have never heard of a school doing that.
We ran a kickoff return back to the crib. We hadn’t done that at home in 30 years. Coach Chris did it.
Take a look at the other coaches. We have had some pretty big disappointments with Coach Cregg in recruiting or Bo Pelini in every facet of his coaching abilities.
Coach Chris is signing Peyton Todd as the successor to ZVR. Peyton Todd is the best punter in America with 6 seconds of hang dang on his punts. Coach Chris signed him.
Cade York just kicked a game winning 57 yard field goal through some of the worst fog that we have ever seen a kicker have to deal with. Mullens calls a TO. He gave Coach Chris too much time to relax and prepare his guy. Fellas that’s the best field goal made in school history given the circumstances.
Coach Chris has worked his way up from graduate assistant to analyst to sideline assistant special teams coach and special teams recruiting coordinator.
Coach Chris has earned recognition for what he has done for this program. Now, he has not been paid yet.
Coach Chris is the tRant’s choice. Everyone understands the concept of working your way up.
When the smoke clears I hope Ed doesn’t miss out on his guy like what happened with Brady and Munoz etc.
