Sauce of mine is friends with local recruiting analysts and says Simmons is picking Texas and Durham is flipping to OU.
EDIT:

Simmons to TX. I'll take 1 out of 2

Impossible.. considering he isn't committed to anyone at the moment.

You can’t lose what you’ve never had

Multiple sites show Durham is either heavily leaning between LSU/OU or highly favored for LSU. So "flip" might be a bit of a stretch but my point still stands.

There is no way anyone would be surprised. Shouldn't be at least

Both of these recruitments will go down to national signing day anyway. This is just a day for the players, the real recruitment has yet to take place

OU has a 5* number 1 overall RB committed and another 4 star.

None of the recruiting analysts know.

If they were LSU commits it would end up on tRant sooo

Would be dumb for Durham to commit to OU since they literally have 2 high end RBs committed already

Recruiting has slipped a little at LSU under BK so I won’t be surprised

He just signed a top 5 class - what do you think the avg class rank for LSU was for the 10 years before he got here ?

People don’t want to admit but NIL is not good for lsu recruiting. Sure we’re a top 15-20 school in terms of NIL spending. But pre-NIL our natural geographic advantages as far as louisiana/south Texas talent and lack of in state competition put us in a top 5 recruiting position.
As long as NIL bidding is the primary driver of recruiting we’re going to hover around top ten. Especially with the SEC fricking us by adding AM/Oklahoma/Texas right on our recruiting doorstep and with AM/UT being two of the biggest NIL spenders and Texas passing laws to help them do it.
