They're making it 70% gayer

Thought it was funny that the grass and dirt look real in the mock-ups.

Hawkins is a dump squeezed in between football stadium, basketball gym and a city block. I think they got really creative with the design

How are we falling behind? List the teams with better stadium/facilities

“VandyBoys” is so gay.
It irrationally triggers me every time I see it.

We're in the bottom half in the SEC for fan facing facilities.
That's what this thread is about.

Arkansas, Ole Miss, MSU. These renderings look pretty awesome to me so add Vandy IMO.
This is just stadiums, I won't pretend to know the ins and outs of teams facilities.

Ark
SC
State
Ole Miss
About to be A&M/Tenn/Vandy once they finish their renovations

I don’t believe that for a second. Bottom half is laughable. Maybe Arkansas is ahead but Miss st and A&M are prob equal at best. You can’t possibly think UF, UGA, Tenn, Aub,, Bama have better stadiums. Also I think y’all should include capacity when putting down Alex Box…you prefer half the capacity to be “better” lol

You think Dudy Noble is equal at best to Alex Box?
Are you serious?

You don’t believe it ?
State has the best stadium in the country
State SC and Ark hold close to as much or as much as the box
Let me know what other stadiums have little league bleachers in the outfield
Most have chairbacks all the way down the lines - some with coverage
Most have some kind of party deck/ berms/ places where kids can run around/etc

Full concourse area, chairbacks throughout the stadium, about 2000 more capacity, no bleachers, an actual bullpen, badass condos in left field. If you honestly believe Alex Box Stadium is better or even remotely equivalent to Dudy Noble, get your head out of the sand

But they don’t have a magic ball from their old stadium
The fans wanted a bad Alex box

Apparently it’s going to take somebody getting hurt before we get rid of the high school bullpens at LSU.

The box is possibly the most bland stadium in the sec, which is everyone’s complaint. There is absolutely no uniqueness. The only thing you could consider to be unique is the bullpens on the field, which is unique because it’s a horrible idea.

SEC Schools that have upgraded or renovated (or have plans to) since the new Alex Box was built:
Arkansas (Built 1996; Renovated 03, 04, 06, 07, 21)
Vandy (Built 2002; Renovated 06, 07, 09, 12, 16, 18, 24)
Florida (Built 2021)
Alabama (Built 1948; Renovated 96, 01, 15)
Kentucky (Built 2019)
Tennessee (Built 1993; Renovated 10, 24)
Texas A&M (Built 1978; Renovated 12, 24)
UGA (Built 1990; Renovated 15)
Ole Miss (Built 1988; Renovated 03, 09)
Miss State (Built 1967; Renovated 87, 18)
Missouri (Built 2002; renovated 10)
USCE (Built 2009)
Only Auburn (2003) hasn’t done anything to their stadium since built.
LSU has done upgrades to the players areas. That’s certainly nice. The scoreboard was replaced and one was added. But the stadium itself is stagnant. The fan experience doesn’t set it apart at all.
