Who’s the last defensive player with the closing speed of Harold Perkins Jr?

I seem to recall before DW there was Patrick Queen who had close to DW speed. I always felt like Minter closed well also.

Queen was after DW40. But he also had insane closing speed.

Jamal Adams running down Lamar Jackson was a thing of beauty.

DW40 and Perkins are clonish……granted Devin was thicker.

Perkins drew on himself, fired, turned, faced himself and caught the bullet. That's fast.

Well, the last LSU defender with MORE closing speed was Jay Ward.

Comparing him to linebackers, which is only fair, I’d go back to Mike Brooks, but maybe Debo Jones and Kwon Alexander.

Honey Badger's closing speed was crazy. Especially on blitzes and short passes. Wrecked plays.

Fastest LSU LB was Devin White.

Fastest Safety was Dreadlocks of DOOM.

Fastest Corner was Patrick Peterson.

Harold Perkins is lurking in Devin White territory in terms of closing speed.

Honey Badger's closing speed was above average. His anticipation skills were above elite. There is no one in football that knows were the football is going to be before it gets there faster than Tyrann Mathieu. It's like he can predict the future.

Debo Jones was a rocket out there but you didn't always know where it was going. His straight line game speed was unreal. But the fastest LSU LBer I have ever seen was Devin White. His closing speed was unnatural for the position. Watching him closing on Lamar Jackson as a true Freshman was unreal.
