Celebrating 20 years of the Tiger Rant (Winners announced on page 30)

Twenty years ago this month, the Tiger Rant was launched...and for 20 years, it's been an amazing journey.  The Rant is the heartbeat of the LSU fan base...nowhere else are the highs and lows of LSU sports captured so eloquently.  

The Tiger Rant is a collection of art and art tells a story.  It is through the Tiger Rant that we communicate to the world our inner feelings, whether it be about a particular play call or the size of a player's calves.   Art has a tendency to deeply move our souls, and everyone reading the Tiger Rant has had their soul moved (or crushed).

I would like to salute the original pioneers of the Tiger Rant, who blazed the trail for all of us back in August 2002:  Bhoutros Bhoutros Guidry, Phat Bertman, slim Hawthorne, Tony Clifton, Chief Illiniwek, Mr. Whoozit, M-Train, mickey guidry, Allbert Belle and too many others to name...Their efforts set the bar high.

There have been so many other great posters on the Tiger Rant over the years...you know who you are...please pat yourself on the back for me.  The strength and culture of an entire fanbase rests upon your shoulders.  That is no small burden and we truly appreciate you being here. On behalf of Circus Child and myself, thanks for all you do.

And of course, we cannot forget about the great TD admin team, whose eagle eyes have peered upon this board and have helped to keep it clean and enjoyable for all.

To celebrate the Tiger Rant, we are doing a T-shirt giveaway...to enter the giveaway, all you need to do is reply to this thread and compliment the Tiger Rant (limited to three sentences or less).  We will randomly pick some winners in the next week.

Note: TigerDroppings.com was started in August 2001. There were no forums for a year. The 2001 on the shirt represents TD's birthdate.
