I think this fall practice will tell fans a lot as to where Kelly is leaning QB wise and offensive wise. I’m leaning towards 9-3 season just curious how long will Kelly’s leash be on LSU’s starting QB this season?

We had like 40 scholarship players for the bowl game

8-4 would be damn impressive and I think Kelly can do it.

Cool. At would be well over our predicted win total by Vegas and I believe it would set the foundation of the Kelly era.

Like always it'll depend on who the L’s are & how competitive they look in those games they lose come about being 8-4 or 9-3.

If they lose to Bama, Florida & Ole Miss but in a competitive kind of way then most reasonable LSU fans (yes there are a few of us still out there) would understand that he needs time to build the program back up to LSU standards. If they lose to FSU &/or Tenn & Florida then get blown out by Bama, A&M & Arky plus a crappy mid-tier bowl then most reasonable LSU fans

I think that’s a realistic outlook for the season. Never know with college football but this team is building back up. Gonna take a couple years to get back into the CFP conversation imo.

Of course not. Why would you ever be positive about anything!

We will be favored in 10 games. I don’t see anyone on our schedule with more talent except maybe Bama

I agree. Kiffin will have his usual wrinkle plays but as long as we stay in position and eliminate his gadget plays we shillings beat Ole Miss. A$M is A$M, we should also take care of Jimbo and co. Auburn should be down, Florida is a toss up no matter the coach. Bama is still just to strong in the trenches yet, but I believe Kelly will right the ship in that department. 1 probably two losses is likely, but a fine first season for Kelly.

The over 7 hits. I’d take it. I feel sorry for the poor chaps expecting a 10 win season.

I really think we should go 9-3. That would include losses to Bama and A&M plus another between Arkansas, Tennessee and Ole Miss. If we can beat Arkansas on the road the week after Bama, A&M might be looking different all of the sudden too.

I wish you were right, but this is just not the case. We had just over half of a team the last game we played. We have an entirely new staff. The O-line, Def backs, and Linebackers are in the bottom half of the SEC talent wise. We are average at QB and RB is a huge question mark. It sucks, but 8-4 with this talent and a new coach would have to be considered a success.

8-4 is a good season all things considered. If they go higher than that they overachieved for sure.

9-3 worst possible scenario. As long as we come straight out the gate and put a beat down on the Criminoles. If we lose to that sissy arse Garnet and gold, all bets are off. It's obviously a big decision who they start under center as well. Could be the difference between the Citrus bowl or the mayo bowl. Or Walker Howard takes us to the playoffs while winning the 1st of 3 consecutive Heismans.

I have been telling ppl 9-3. I think the talent is there. I can see 8-4 also, 7-5 would be a disappointment for me.
