Seems like a perfect fit with the Nike money the Ducks can throw around. Ole Miss definitely not on that tier.

I think that’s more of a threat for him than bama. He isn’t dumb enough to follow up Saban at Bama.

That’s why I’m hoping all of the Norvell talk is legit

He’s not going to that climate

Will Phil Knight ofder the job. How do you even know if NIKE likes Lane. That's the question. This job has been up for resumes 3 times since Kiffin has been a head coach.

I do not want to see Norvell at Bama. Though seeing the inevitable Prime at FSU is a ticket I would purchase.

Kiffins also a way better candidate now than he’s ever been.

Not dumb enough but maybe enough of an ego. He'll have the best roster he's ever had and maybe 2 seasons to win a natty before they start calling for his head. I could see him taking that gamble.
He knows this surge of talent at Ole Miss is not sustainable. He's definitely looking for the next gig.

If there is an opening at Oregon, this carousel may go around a few more times.

No. Don’t see him going to Oregon.

Regardless, yet again, he will get be getting his annual raise.

Kiffin at Oregon is interesting

With his ego and their money, I could definitely see it happening. However, he is absolutely loaded at old miss for next year, so it's going to take a Brinks truck to get his away from the grove!

Hope it happens. For Kiffins roster building strategy Oregon fits like a glove

He would crawl to Alabama if they offered. Ole miss is a stepping stone for kiffin, definitely isn’t staying there his whole career. But he is in a good enough spot to make his next jump his final and best job. He would do well at Oregon but I think he’s got the ego to want the Alabama job. Doesn’t he have a better resume than Lanning? More HC experience, success at multiple stops, etc.

Last year I think the answer is yes, but I think Lane sees next year at OM as his opportunity to win a NC with the team they have coming back and the new portal pieces.

Will his young girlfriend go with him??????

I think Lane is waiting for the Florida job to open after next season. I wouldn't be surprised if Florida has already told him he's the first call when Napier eventually fails.

I think Florida would be all in on Fisch as long as Arizona is good next year. UF grad, done well at a tough school.
