Solich was a dinosaur and so was Nebraska, maybe they prematurely fired him by a few years but it was inevitable.
No one was able to do just as good as he did or better since. Even the current Nebraska HC is sucking.

He quit recruiting oline. He’s the biggest reason why we suck so much arse now.
Now? No way! Look at Indiana! No way Freeze could be that bad at not getting any good OLs from the transfer portal. Freeze is just not that good of a HC.

4 years later and yall still are saying that bullshite. Dude left plenty of talent. His replacement run all the talent off and did not bring any in.
Nothing that is going on at Auburn right now is Gus's fault. Its all on Auburn, Harsin and the slimy fricker coaching right now
I would blame Auburn's boosters for the hiring of those last two HCs.

Freeze at Ole Miss - send him to rehab, but he was the best coach they had and he wanted to be there. Lane is miserable in oxford.
Are you kidding me?! Why the hate for Kiffin? He almost beat LSU and is doing well right now. Might not win 10-11 games regularly but what have Freeze done? He sucks worse now than ever. How is he doing at Auburn?

Brian Kelly for taking the LSU job where he would have made the playoffs every year at Notre Dame. I know he wasn't fired but this looks like a mistake for BK to take the LSU job.

youre right. I guess i was thinking to that point, Freeze was the best coach in their history. .

Please go back to the SEC Rant. Your schtick has no place here.

Vols haven't been to Atlanta since he left and can't find their way back with a Greyhound ticket. The firing was a terrible decision, AT THE TIME.

Hey Lefty, your hard on for BK is showing. There will come a time when I run you off TD.com with all the receipts of your blatant and obvious stupidity.
You're not just stupid, your the kind of stupid that actually thinks you have some modicum of intelligence, so you pick the worst hills to die on, IE BK and his choice to come to LSU.
While Kelly's time here at LSU hasn't been without it's mistakes, he could have already had one championship, and with the way he's recruited, the next 4 years are going to be extremely good for LSU.
Meanwhile you'll still be as dumb as a bag of hammers.

Assuming the cheerleader thing wasn't true, this gets my vote.
Yes, they dropped from 11 wins to 9, but Solich proved at Ohio he knew how to win with little to nothing.

I think people saying this one are forgetting why he was fired. He supposedly hit a player in the locker room after a game. Then he lied about it and interfered with the schools investigation, telling players to lie for him. There was no way they could keep him after all that came out.
So. If they wanted to win they could have made it happen to keep him.

Auburn is the hardest job in CFB. Malzahn had them in contention most years.
And he beat Saban 3X
