As long as USF gives Kiffin a good buyout, he's going there IMO.

40 - 45 in his career with one 8-win and one 10-win season. Lost his only bowl.

Both schools he's coached had to be completely rebuilt(or in WKU's case, built) Mr. Brohm owes him a debt of gratitude for his quick success at WKU.

Mike MacIntyre had a record of 16-21 when he took over in Boulder. That's worked out pretty well.

Ill bet Charlie Strong ends up at South Florida

It was his recruiting area while at UF and he pulled a ton of players from Miami area when at Louisville and Texas. While at Texas they said he had great relationships with all the big HS programs in south florida

its a natural fit.

Strong would be a good fit, also think Les would do well there.

I see some writers who likes the hire, but it sure seemed like a strange hiring process for Oregon.

It started with Fleck being reportedly being a favorite, then not getting interviewed at all.

Then, Chip had the contract papers drawn up, but backed out at the last minute.

Dan Mullen's name popped up briefly, but didn't gain much traction.

Next, they reportedly lose Matt Rhule to Baylor, which isn't a good look, if true.

Then Chip re-enters the picture, with many "insiders" claiming it was done, and would be announced today.

We wake up today, and Willie Taggert is the coach. Maybe he will turn out to be a good hire, but to the outside it seems like a poorly executed coaching search.
