Do not want.

Guy is fricking 60 and has a losing record at Tulane.

Mizzou fans think they have leverage for a good coach.

Fritz has won everywhere he’s been. He’s the coach that builds programs and has been successful. Guaranteed half of you don’t know anything about the guys history outside of Tulane.

This tells me he's frustrated that he can't beat top 25 AAC West teams. He wants out.

Yeah, it would have nothing to do with the fact that his salary would double at Arkansas. He's just mad he isn't winning enough.

He’s going to look like a dick if he gets passed over and winds up having to stay at Tulane. His agent shouldn’t have leaked this honestly

nah

If Tulane keeps him they should view themselves as fortunate.

Tulane is in no position to complain about a guy interviewing for a job.

Actually no school has any right to complain -they don't own a coach. But the leaking is a different story. It hurts the current school
No complaints if he interviews somewhere; it's a reasonable decision. But it's also making a move. And you need to hit it if you make that move, especially if it gets leaked.

#53 rated class is gonna go up in smoke.

Let’s not kid ourselves, this class was going to get raped and pillaged anyway.

We'd have lost some players, like teams usually do; but hardly raped and pillaged.
After this, we'll see.

Fritz has done an amazing job wherever he’s gone. He’ll be a good coach wherever he ends up.

I have watched every game he’s coached at Tulane. He has done a solid job, but he hasn’t done anything to me that warrant an SEC job. Had he finished this season 9-3 or 10-2 my opinion may have been different but his teams have continuously fallen flat on their face against good teams. He has one quality win and that was last year at home against Memphis. I hope he stays but this isn’t how I felt at all when hearing Bowden was interviewing with Clemson. He hasn’t figured out how to make his offense work at the AAC level, so that wouldn’t make me feel excited about how it will translate at a lower SEC school like Arkansas or Missouri. His scheme will beat teams that have a lower level of talent and lose to the ones who have a greater level of talent. That doesn’t translate well at Arkansas or Missouri. His in game coaching decisions have been questionable and this year he repeatedly did not have his team ready to play in the 1st half including the Houston game we won after falling back 28-7. Saying 22-27 at Tulane deserves an SEC job because it’s Tulane is a dangerous game to play. He’s done a good job building a foundation but I have yet to see anything that tells me he’s gonna get us from mediocre to good.
