What idiot would jump ship mid- stream and change jobs, damage their credibility, and make themselves unhireable if they shite the bed at LSU ? This won't happen at least until mid/late December.

In my estimation, LSU has a new head coach and has had him for weeks. I do not, for one second, believe that Scott Woodward fired Ed Orgeron without having his replacement already signed.
