Why would Lsu fire the Head Coach if the new hay wasn't in the barn already?

Don't you think it was already in the works during the off season that Kiffin or whomever was already contacted and there was intrest between the two parties? I just can't believe you would fire.
One of the all time winningness, coaches and have nothing ready to go?
That's all I got..
P.S
Knox Kiffin 2028 Lsu Quarterback?

What makes you think he isn't in hasn't been "in the barn". He could have been there the whole time. ;)

I'm curious as to what about the current LSU administration makes you confident they have their shite together?

Cause Brian Kelly's team could suck chrome off a trailer hitch faster than any Aggie could.
With several big time firings you either pull the plug now or get left in the dust after Florida, Penn St, and Auburn have their pick.

Firing BK was not in the plans.....at this time, anyway....but from all accounts, his meeting with Scott Woodworth initially was to make specific changes in BK's staff. That meeting quickly became contentious & went downhill fast. SW wanted Coach A fired & BK came back with wanting to fire Coach B only.

No, it never works this way

LSU thought they had a paper fire. So they threw some water on it. But they quickly realized they had a gas fire when the fire blew up and became a dumpster fire.

Even if they did, which they didn't, they fired the guy that would've been putting out those feelers.

The current and prior Admins were/are not top notch. On a good day average most days NOT!

Apparently LSU hasn't fired anyone.
What makes you think these assclowns were thinking past the first meeting with BK on that Sunday?

Common for them to reach out to agents just it gage interest if they had an open position. I think most would not talk numbers and try and lock someone into a position that isn’t open. Could be qb bad look of if you are gonna stab him in the back by hiring a replacement before firing him then what says they won’t do the same to me

Did it look that way when LSU fired Miles?

There isn't a credible source saying this happened. It was spread early, and now everyone keeps repeating it. Kelly's suit makes no mention of that. It simply said that BK met with Woodward, Verge, Cromer, and Austin Thomas where he was informed of his termination. Why would Woodward bring 3 witnesses to request staff changes?

I think the embarrassment vs ATM accelerated things. Since SW's fate was pretty much tied to BK's, IDK who in our Admin would've been in contact with agents/options.
