Best offense in college football this year.

Has def been working his way up.
Probably needs to make another jump and then a jump to lsu.

Check about 5 threads down. “Getable OCs”. Imber threw his name out earlier.
Looks like an up & coming guy.

He should get a look. Im not sure why he needs another step before getting considered at LSU. Their offense looks just like ours last year. Spread RPO. I'd give him a shot

Coach O needs young guys coaching similar to a Brady.

A) stfu about Brady
B) look at that picture, does he look old?
He started posting under briles in 2007, graduated in 2011. So some damn research before mouthing off, Jesus.

I’ve liked Sowder since last year when I saw a Kent State game on TV but I fear O would be too scared about difference in competition. The argument could be made if Sowder was ready then so should Callaway who had success against a similar level of competition. Their offense is explosive and I would have no problem with him being the hire but O is old school and probably wants someone closer to 50 than 40 running his offense. He will get a power 5 coordinator job this offseason or next and a head coaching job not long after that but it won’t be at LSU with O running the show.

I’ve been impressed with the research and names tossed around on this board.
I really hope the search committee, is actually a search committee and as much research is being done by large salary people.

Whether you meant to or not you insinuated that sowder was too old.
The thing I loved about Brady besides his talent scheme wise, was the way he related to LSU’s young ralented receivers, they worked their asses off during the off-season because of Brady. Young coaches like that who can motivate and relate would serve LSU well.

That was last night and it gets old as shite how this year people aren't doing their research, just mouthing off. And so tired of Joe Brady this or Joe Brady that. People need to realize that he isn't coming back and that he isn't a God. He had a first rounder at every skill position and 3 olineman that are starting as rookies for God's sake.
And mainly tired of dumbass post ruining this board. This thread is what this board is about and immediately people jump in with Joe Brady clone or go pay Joe Brady 5 million and make him say no.
Well on that notion, why not just go offer Saban 15 million and make him say no? The absurdity in both are about the same.

I understand and everyone feels the same way but he isn't coming back. And it's not easy to recreate that offense. It was a mix of Joe Moorehead and the saints offense.
Sowder runs the veer and shoot, a great offense. Proven from the art briles tree. Is young, from Texas, etc
Here is a great article on the offense to familiarize yourself with it.

That's how I viewed Brady as well, he just utilized our talent better than a any of the other offensive coordinators we have had in a long time.
We have had some god awful offensive schemes in the past decade though. I never saw Brady as a miracle worker, just much smarter than the people living in the 1970's we kept hiring.

Nick Saban played and was a grad assistant at Kent State. Not to bad. Sowder maybe the next Nick Saban. Just maybe
