You really need to compare apples to apples.
With the age of football analysts I imagine a big part of the game plan for Ohio state was already done even before the playoffs just in case they met

Breaux Bridge and coach Mike Mowad sent LSU Dominic Davis, Jessie Daniels, Johnathan Zeno, Caleb Angelle, John Williams and Charles Alexander. Not bad for a public school

My only response is how in the world can anyone see this as a bad thing and give this a down vote. Kids today need all the help along the way they can get
LSU isn’t deep on the bench. They can’t afford to foul. Listen to Coach Wade’s interview before the Alabama game and he commented on that very thing

It’s not easy winning on the road in the SEC no matter the sport. Auburn has a fantastic environment. I think to many fans have forgotten what it was like before Coach Wade. Go tigers

So what about all the points Aranda’s defense gave up this year. People can use the excuse of injuries but every team has them. This years defense didn’t step up until they were called out by the playoff committee. It took us losing the top spot for the defense to respond. That’s on Aranda
