- Herman goes to Texas

- Fisher declines and stays at FSU

- Coach Ed O. doesn't perform down the stretch and loses 3 or 4 of the last 7.

I've been seeing these three names at the top of everyone's list. I'm just wondering who are the next crop of coaches if anyone of these three aren't viable options anymore.

There's good coaches out there if we can't get one of the big ones. I don't believe you fire someone like Les Miles in order to give it to Ed O full time.

He wouldn't be my first choice but he has taken over two dumpster fires and improved them every year.

Overall records don't always tell the whole story.

I'd add Petrino instead of Gundy and reorder a bit, but yeah.

I'd take all of these over O even with a 6-2 or 7-1 finish, not to mention 3 or 4 losses. And even with that kind of close, I'd probably take Petrino, Kelly, and maybe even Fedora over him.

Fedora strikes me as an interesting hire. He isn't the trendy pick, or a really aggressive one, but I think he'd be solid.

I think BP is where he belongs again. I don't think he can beat Saban and I don't think we can cover up the motorcycles or VB coaches that he rides.

Agree that Petrino and 50+ points/ game is the fall back plan.
