Vandy could reasonably fire Mason.

I agree. Plus, hate to lose Vince Marrow and the Ohio connections.

Finebaum said today he wouldn’t be surprised if another SEC opening happens. But it didn’t sound like he was implying it was Malzahn

Malzahn is lining up for a re-match with UGa, which he is very likely to lose. He may well take the Arkansas job, in that event. The real question is, who would Auburn hire?

Lulzy

Aubbie just unseated 2 number ones in as many weeks. They are riding high as they should be.

Smart to Starkville. He's afraid of Mullen.

The rematch doesn't favor the team that won the first time around, especially when the opponents are evenly matched.

Steele has a history of folding under pressure and Malzhan is at a distinct disadvantage when he's "confident".

I like Smart to take away Auburn's rushing attack and expect the Auburn coaches to blow a number of critical calls, giving the game the to UGa.

Except that in SECCG rematches, the winning team has won again every time except 1.

3 of those rematch wins were Auburn.

It wouldn't shock me to see UGA take the rematch-

I think they got caught up in being ranked #1, came in overconfident and not ready to play, and Auburn blindsided them. I don't think that will happen again, and expect to see a much better game from the Dawgs this time. Kind of curious whether Auburn is the overconfident team this time.

I think he is. He just hasn't seemed the same the last 2 years. Dead eyes and agitated in interviews.

Saban looked really tired Saturday night.

It's not him but just as possible as the other guesses
