Who are the coaches that are a No Go for some of you?

Of all the names mentioned, I would be pretty upset with Dabo or Tucker. Dabo is a poser aka Orgeron without the Louisiana connections and Tucker is just very very underwhelming and not the Top Tier coach I would expect us to get.

-I’m tempted to put Mel Tucker on my no-go list, but I’ll wait and see how his season plays out to make a judgment. This is his first “non-first-year” season as HC, so it’s important data IMO
Ones that I certainly wouldn’t melt but strongly feel they’re not the right hire for LSU:
-Jimbo
-Bob Stoops
-Fleck
-Franklin

Any way you slice it, that would be nationally perceived as a really solid, if not great, hire.

I was pretty anti Napier up until about a week ago. He wouldn't be my first choice but my feelings wouldn't be hurt with him either. I think he will end up being a good D1 coach at a big school before too long. I think Riley is a pipe dream. There's no real incentive for him to make a lateral move. My dream hire would be Freeze.

I think it would be perceived as earth shattering. To go in and take a coach with 2 titles and 4 total championship appearances, even coming off a down year, would be huge.
Not saying I want it to happen or am a fan of Swinney, but the only "bigger fish" college coach is Saban.

I don't really have a no go; just varying degrees of skepticism. Will support whoever is chosen until they're not the coach.

Freeze - No chance he gets it, but the board loves him despite being shady as hell and overrated.
While I think Kiffin could win here, I also think it's going to end in some kind of a shite show.
