I really don't get upset when it comes to coaches looking to find a better job. Afterall, we all do it in the business world. If he leaves, we'll find a new coach. The program is in better shape now than when he first arrived on campus.

Maybe Dan called Penn State to set up an interview for Monday or wait was it Tuesday....he had his dates mixed up when he told Marcello he wasn't interviewing on Monday, etc. All that quote says is he, his agent or MSU haven't been contacted by PSU but it doesn't say he didn't contact PSU.
There are always lines that you can read in-between when it comes to this stuff. Just like he told his players that he turned down a job offer, he didn't say it was the PSU job offer...just A job offer.
