Why retweet it then? He's the beat writer for State. We've heard coaches vehemently deny moves for a long long time(pine box etc.)

Sorta like the same new station who had it confirmed that Mullen was close to accepting the Penn State job. Penn State was going to announce this earlier this week.

Explain to me what Mullen is trying to say by blaming the rumors on Ole Miss as an institution.
....it should be noted that he didn't blame it on fans.....but the institution as a whole.

I figured the first quote was coach speak. I figured he knew he was gonna get a shot but had not formally been contacted so he could say that he wasn't contacted but still interview and not be lying.
But then when he straight up says "no", I don't see any coach speak there. So I figure he really is not interested, or he's a liar. TBD. Either way, I am confident that I will be happy with our situation.
