If Temple hires Rod Carey, I would guess NIU.

I don't think Maryland has announced anything yet, but I don't think anyone is expecting Locksley to retain Canada.

Not sure if I'd classify that as a "firing" though.

Maryland just hired Alabama's WR coach to be the new OC. So I would think he is not coming back to Maryland.

Eta: To correct it is WR coach.

Ole Miss's next OC after Luke is fired mid-season next year and Rich Rod is promoted to HC.

Book it.

I think it’s pretty telling that no one has hired him.

He has earned the reputation as someone who you can't work with.

Sure, he is intelligent and runs an interesting offense, but you can't act like he does and expect to keep a job

Has he really? He was promoted as interim head coach and did pretty well considering the situation he was in. His players loved him there. Offered the OC position at Indiana, declined because couldn't have input for assistants. Now he's being considered for head coach at NIU and Narduzzi and him have had talks about him coming back to Pitt.

Doesn't seem like someone with a bad rep. I'm not saying he's a great person or coach, but maybe Coach O was part of the problem. He's made plenty of questionable decisions in his career.

i think the problem was O didn't realize what he was getting and couldn't manage the clash between Canada and Aranda

And yet Canada hasn't kept a job longer than 3 years in a long, long time, and keeps being encouraged to "seek other opportunities" after successful seasons (Wisconsin, NC State, etc.)
