Joe Brady as passing game coordinator over Hankton?

That would have been very interesting to watch- all of the joe Brady didn’t do shite vs Joe Brady is a genius- and the joe Brady please impregnate me crowd-

For the record- I think his passing concepts were vital to our success but without the talent it would have meant little. I still think he ....

My issue with Joe Brady is that he would probably use us as another quick stepping stone again.

I’m just here to point out that every program in the country could have hired Brady as a coordinator. None did.

For all of our dismissals over E’s roll in the 2019 offense after Brady left, it’s clear in hindsight that neither were as good without the other. Brady’s playbook (which wasn’t completely his) and ability to diagnose advantageous matchups and E’s experience as a coach and playcaller worked extremely well together. They also didn’t let their egos get in the way, especially Ensminger.

I wouldn’t have been disappointed for Brady to return as a WR coach or PGC, but I’m good with this staff, especially from a recruiting standpoint.

SO WHAT!!!!!!!!!!
If he was able to use us as a stepping stone then that means it probably went well. There's advantages to continuity of staff but just being scared an assistant will do too well and leave is small time thinking.

Concepts that weren’t his, essentially like an intern who passes along company information

So what? We need our assistant coaches to start building relationships with recruits to build something special here. I trust Hankton to recruit New Orleans and Texas better than Joe Brady!

They were vital but they also weren’t “his” concepts. We didn’t do anything special schematically in 2019. We just ran the same concepts that every other team with a legitimate passing threat over the last decade were running.

I don't want Joe Brady anywhere around LSU. The guy is massively overrated and our idiot fan base still hasn't figured this out.

Wouldn't be surprised if Joe Brady ends up back at the Saints in some kind of role

Would love it. Denbrock would be the playcaller but Brady would add his passing concepts. Myles Brennan lit up the first 3 games with the playbook while Ensminger was calling plays.

Plus he was a great receivers coach. Everybody was catching passes like nobody's business. The RBs combined for 80 catches, the TEs combined for 60. And you know how the 3 headed monster at WR did.

Brady is better qualified to be a PGC in the SEC than Cortez Hankton.

Another "Used Car Salesman" hired at LSU to do a job that he
has never done before! (PGC)

On The Job Training continues at ULSU of the SEC.
