You can’t hire Gregg Williams, I don’t think. But do you blow it up and hire a whole new crew?

Darkhorse- maybe they just hire Freddie Kitchens

Why can't they hire Gregg Williams and just retain Kitchens as the OC? Do people really believe this would be a disaster with the way they're currently playing with an incredibly young team?

What should the Browns do? Or what are the Browns going to do?

The answers to these questions have been the exact opposite in recent history and I'm nearly positive that will persist.

Gregg Williams as an interim and Gregg Williams as the actual coach are 2 very diff things.
I might keep kitchens as the oc if baker likes him

Hiring Williams would be a very Browns thing to do.

I think they will make a push for Lincoln Riley.

If they can hold out a year Urban will have his 2nd miracle recovery and they can maybe go for him.

Because they'd lose Kitchens after next season when someone else makes him HC

Mike McCarthy seems like what they would do given the Dorsey connections.

The talk up here is that Gregg Williams is a legit candidate for the job, especially if the Browns can beat Baltimore on the road next Sunday. Freddie Kitchens has certainly been an eye-opener. If he does not retain the job as Browns' OC, he'll probably get an opportunity as a coordinator with some other team. Personally, I would love to see him stay, no matter who gets the head-coaching gig.

Dorsey might go with Mike McCarthy, since he knows him so well from his time in Green Bay. People have tossed around names like Lincoln Riley (I haven't heard anyone up here speculating about Saban), but Dorsey is NFL through-and-through, and most figure he will go with someone who is in the League instead of a college coach. We'll see.....

Because Kinchens in a year will be gone if they are good on offense.

And Gregg Williams is a piece of shite

People are also forgetting that the defense isn’t good.

It would be a very Browns thing to do to hire the shitty DC and let the OC who improved the team get hired by someone else.

They could always just promote their DL coach. That has worked wonders for some college programs.

1) Saban is not leaving.
2) Tomlin isn’t getting fired. Not how they operate.

I agree about Tomlin and Steelers, it's not their mo

It was a joke because I see the MSB be calling for Tomlin to go.

Honestly, I know this is going to sound crazy, but if I am the Browns I give two calls to Belichick and Saban's agents and see if they are up for the challenge. I know it's a one in a million shot, but the Browns can't leave any stone unturned. Believe it or not, they are going into next year with a legit shot at the division, probably not the favorite, but not a dark horse at all.

In the end, I think it most likely will be Williams or Kitchens. But damn them if they don't put feelers out for a home run hire.
